As the date of my take-off to India is getting closer, I’m diving into all things fashionable and travel-friendly. I’m a strong believer that traveling can go hand in hand with looking amazing. All right, it might take a little more research and effort but I would love to do that work for you. You might have noticed that the blog is going more and more into a wanderlust direction and that is just the way I like it. Fashionable Wanderlust, as I call it, is something you can expect a whole lot more of in the future. That does bring me to a certain announcement that I’m super excited to share with you. First in my fashionable wanderlust is a series on the nomad’s wardrobe. Here I will be sharing super pretty fashion and highlighting brands that are perfect to take along with you on the road. Requirements for this travel-inspired wardrobe? Comfortable pieces that are lightweight, fit well with the rest of my wardrobe and that are easy to clean. I wanted to introduce you to two brands which fit perfectly into this philosophy. They are both working with keffiyeh scarves as their inspiration, namely Cecilie Copenhagen and Rough Rugs. Cecilie Copenhagen is, as the name states, a Danish brand that creates these uber cute 2-piece keffiyah shorts and tops. Rough Rugs on the other hand is a Dutch brand that focuses on dresses from this fabric. Ultra lightweight and stylish, they are the perfect pieces for my traveling wardrobe. Now I just have to decide which color I want, which would you prefer?
