Hold the phone, I have found my dream mansion. I came across photos of this mystery house in Bellengin, South Wales Australia, a little while ago but have been simply obsessed with it. I would love to find out which house it is in if I can rent a room in it. But seriously, how much does this look like paradise?

How To Nail Your Airport Outfit

The airport outfit is often one of the most difficult outfits to nail and for me that is certainly the case. It needs to combine a whole lot of comfort with style. It will need to keep you warm and be pleasant to sit in for hours to come because you will most likely end up taking a nap. It is very tempting to grab your regular jogging pants out from under the bed and an oversized sweater. However, that’s not your only option. If you want to take your airport outfit to the next level, here are some tips that will make you nail your airport outfit. Not only are these tips useful for flights, they will be your best friend in overnight buses, boat trips or even an overnight camping trip next to the road.

This weekend was all about celebrating friendship. For me personally, I was also celebrating four years of travel. For this occasion, I decided it was time for a brand new look for the blog! The previous design went online while I was in Vietnam (Dalat to be precise) about 3.5 years ago. It was time for an update! So here it is, the brand new design! I hope you love it as much as I do.

How to Organize and Backup Your Travel Photos + How To Organize A Hard Drive

One of your most valuable memories of your travels are your photos and videos. Most of us are traveling around with both a smartphone and a camera on hand. Always snapping shots can build up to quite a few photos you want to keep safe. If you’re anything like me, you might shoot your photos and videos in RAW which means they take up A LOT of space. Adding to that, I have my phone in my hand most of the time and am continuously snapping away for Instagram, Instagram stories or Snapchat (are you following me yet?). All of these photos and videos add up to a lot of databytes, because in the end, that’s what it’s all about. Any traveler worries about their precious memories getting lost or maybe even stolen. Therefore it is very important to keep track of where these photos are and to backup your travel photos as much as possible. I’ve heard so many horror stories about people losing all their photos after a hard drive drops on the floor, an SD-card breaks (they do break!) or your laptop crashes. While I struggled with backing up my photos in the beginning, I have now found a system that works perfectly for me.

It’s often a practical question on whether to pack a hat on your next trip abroad. They are difficult to store, you might have to put them on your head during transit and do you even need it? I only started traveling with a hat (the lovely halfway through my last travels through South East Asia and Australia and was so happy to have it. So yes, I’m a big advocate of taking a hat with you and here is why
