Inspiration hits you at every turn. For me it was enough to walk past a girl on Koh Tao and seeing a scene in “Water For Elephants” with Reese Witherspoon to realize that a colorful kimono is the perfect summer staple.
Life is pretty simple when going camping. But sometimes all a girl needs is some sun and an inflatable swimming pool. Located in the middle of the French Countryside, my quick getaway couldn’t have been more perfect.

As some of you might have noticed, I was happy as a clam this weekend when Rock Werchter festival started. With only one day of the festival on the books, so many more vestimentary options opened up. While I usually never would have taken my leather shorts on a 4-day Werchter trip, this one day though -with cloudy overcast- seemed like the perfect opportunity. Combined with my open back Hey Pilgrim top and trusted Vans, the outfit seemed quite a succes for the day at hand. Giving that with a pair of heels or off the festival grounds, this look wouldn’t work since it does show quite a lot of skin and has leather shorts as a focal point. Oh yeah, and also the first ever picture of (partly) my tattoo on the blog! More on the actual bands and the atmosphere to come soon.
I have to admit that I watch the Victoria Secret show every year. So while watching it this time around, I wanted to write up another Style Highlight of a Victoria’s Secret angel (find the style highlight of the other angel Lily Aldridge here). We’ve featured Miranda Kerr’s pre Orlando pad before but now it’s time for her sense of style outside of the catwalk.
Ever since I saw the fall fashion shows back in March, I’ve been keeping my eye out for the perfect dark red/purplish lipstick. By now it has become a bit of a mission.
