Blogging requires you to be a bit of a computer geek. It might seem like a glamorous life but in reality we spent more time behind our computers then anything else. Writing text, looking for inspiration, editing photos, etc. Next to that you also get about a gazillion e-mails that you have to answer sooner rather than later. So sometimes it can turn into a bit of a chaos. There are however some tools in order to make life and blogging a bit easier. So in this series, I’ll share some websites, apps and technology that will make life a bit easier, whether you’re a blogger or not.

Last week I was invited in Brussels to discover deep frying with Vandemoortele. I have to be honest, I don’t own a deep-fryer and am not planning on buying one. I don’t like too much grease in my food and I especially don’t like the smell. Therefore I was quite curious to see whether they could change my mind and whether they could teach me something on actually including deep fried food in a healthy diet. This was also my first food-related event so I was actually quite excited.

You have a couple of Instagram accounts of which you truly look forward to see what they will post next. For me, the “I Love Mr. Mittens” account of Stéphanie Caulier is definitely one of them. The brand “I Love Mr. Mittens” however is so much more than an Instagram account with an excellent sense of style. It’s currently one of the most beautiful Belgian born knitting brands on the market.
