I have to say, combining leopard and pink is not a normal combination for me but I did really like it. I actually bought this shirt for it’s color over a year ago and have never worn it, but I love it as a color accent in an outfit. Throwing on my dad’s army jacket made this very feminine look more me.
I love the combination of oversized tops and skinny jeans. On a casual saturday this is the perfect outfit, especially with a skinny jeans with little details such as this DIESEL Skinzee. In the wintertime I have the tendency to wear a lot of black, grey and blue I’m very happy with my bright yellow beanie of I Love Mr. Mittens. It brights up my face, just the thing I need on cold days.
You have a couple of Instagram accounts of which you truly look forward to see what they will post next. For me, the “I Love Mr. Mittens” account of Stéphanie Caulier is definitely one of them. The brand “I Love Mr. Mittens” however is so much more than an Instagram account with an excellent sense of style. It’s currently one of the most beautiful Belgian born knitting brands on the market.
Recently my sister asked me to give her inspiration to update her style. Her style has always been very sporty and she really is the typical example of a tomboy. A couple of years ago I was able to convince her to start wearing mascara (and to comb her hair more often). More recently she cut bangs which look perfect with her eternal ponytail. But her closet still is quite young filled with hoodies, jeans (regular fit), converse and loads of color. Elements that are pretty cool but I did have some inspiration to update her look. While putting together this moodboard I really wanted to create a very casual look that fits her lifestyle of travel, working with animals and her adversity towards heels while being stylish, sexy and grown-up.
As you might have guessed from my New York Wishlists, I’m flying to New York on Saturday. I’m planning on arriving as fresh as possible in New York to be able to go straight to my NYC birthday dinner.
