The fashion at music festivals is a lot of fun but of course the actual music is what it is all about. While preparing for Pukkelpop this week, I’ve submerged myself in the bands that are coming and put together a little playlist. Not only bands that are coming to Belgium this weekend, but also a couple of my all time favorites that were at Rock Werchter, Couleur Café and Les Ardentes. Perfect to play when you’re packing your bags or when you’re on the road! I also added some pics that I still had laying around from festivals last year and this year.
A lot of ‘old’ regulars are always essential to me, Queens of the Stone Age will be coming to Belgium once more and I’m quite sad that I missed Ben Howard and Arctic Monkeys earlier this year. Bands such as The War On Drugs, George Ezra and Oscar and The Wolf I’ve only seen or am going to see for the first time this year and I’m really excited about. And yes, I couldn’t choose between ‘Strange Entity’ and ‘Killer You’ by Oscar and the Wolf so I just added them both. Dancing will be done to the sounds of Röyksopp & Robyn, Die Antwoord, Sigma, Kavinsky and well basically everywhere where you will bump into me. I didn’t mention all the bands in the list, but just have a listen and let me know what you think. Am I missing a couple of good bands in here?
