I love the combination of oversized tops and skinny jeans. On a casual saturday this is the perfect outfit, especially with a skinny jeans with little details such as this DIESEL Skinzee. In the wintertime I have the tendency to wear a lot of black, grey and blue so I’m very happy with my bright yellow beanie of I Love Mr. Mittens. It brights up my face, just the thing I need on cold days.
I did also want to talk a little bit about my jacket. It looks great, especially on picture and that’s why I ended up buying it online. When it arrived however (straight from Asia) I was a bit dissapointed. Being faux shearling, the material of the jacket is actually quite good and that’s why it works on photo. The edges of the jacket however are not finished at all causing the teddy and the threads to come loose. Unfortunately the online website, Oasap, never answered my e-mail to them and it would cost me too much to send it back. Buying this jacket made me think about these types of mass consumerism pieces and therefore one of my new years resolutions is to really start consuming less and more sensibly. Where possible I’ll go for the higher quality pieces that will probably be more expensive in stead of the cheaper copycat version. What do you think about this issue?
